Both are Windows 11 Pro, with BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop host, Hyper-V virtualization and the ability to join a work domain. The retail licence can move to another PC when you replace your computer (one PC at a time). The OEM licence is tied to the first PC it is installed on and costs less, so it suits a new PC build or a one-time setup.

Office Home 2024 is meant for personal and family use. Office Business 2024 is meant for work and business use. Open each product page to see the details, and contact us if you are unsure which one suits you.

Your box includes a genuine license key and instructions. For Windows, go to Settings, then Activation, and enter your product key. For Office, sign in with your Microsoft account on Microsoft’s Office setup page and enter your key there.
