Windows 11 Pro Retail licence in Malaysia: the licence that moves with you
Windows 11 Pro Retail product key costs RM399.00 (reference price RM1,299.00) and gives you the professional edition of Windows 11 with a licence you can move to a new computer later. If you upgrade your hardware every few years, that flexibility is the reason to choose Retail over OEM.
Retail or OEM: which should you buy?
A retail licence can be transferred to another PC after you remove it from the old one, while an OEM licence stays with the PC it is first installed on. OEM costs less, at RM299.00 for Windows 11 Pro OEM, so choose OEM for a one-off new build and Retail if you expect to change computers. Our guide to OEM vs Retail vs Volume Licence explains the differences.
